Food Pantry: April has been a busy month!

Park Slope Civic Council awarded us a $600 Community Grant! We are so grateful to be recognized by our neighborhood leaders.

Our Diaper Hub got an infusion of diapers from the Brooklyn Diaper Project. We refill the cabinet weekly so it can be accessed by the community 24/7. They are trying to connect us with pull ups and potty training books. We are also working on partnerships to include period products. Give what you can, take what you need!

Our housebound seniors had been enjoying meals from East New York's Fusion East Restaurant and Park Slope's own Lizzie King's, as part of the Restaurant Resiliency Project which gave funds to local businesses to prepare meals. As we move away from pandemic funding, we have joined advocacy efforts to encourage our state assemblyman to continue to lobby for more funds to support families facing food insecurity.
